Screens: FF Tactics A2, combat, cutscenes and cockatrice
Although the original Final Fantasy Tactics Advance on the GameBoy Advance faced a lot of criticism in its time, you have to admit that now that we’re all done playing through Final Fantasy XII the foreshadowing of the re-imagining of Ivalice is quite eerie. But ignore the Squeenix fanboy talk, the news here is that the folks at WorthPlaying have four new screenshots of the upcoming DS game Final Fantasy Tactics A2. Behold:
Judging from the screens it seems that the NDS version of the old GBA game is set to showcase the same old gameplay, only, with the expected additional tweaks. Note the lack of judges, the re-use of the some old job classes from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and that creepy giant Cockatrice. Here’s a closer look at the foul fowl:
A cockatrice version of FFXII’s cluckatrice? Infant spawn included? Eww.
