Screens of The Witcher

The Witcher is a PC-based RPG from Atari and Polish-based CD Projekt that, the devs say, will marry the roots of RPG – story and character development – with a “tactically deep” real time combat system. Its story, based on the world created by Polish fantasy author Andrzej Sapkowski, revolves around a man who from birth was trained (and mutated) to be a Witcher, or a professional hitokiri monster slayer.

It’s not exactly something that inspires job security, until you factor in rampaging beats and a prophecy of “unspeakable doom.” Then you have a reason to grind and grind for level-ups.
