Screenshots and details on Asterix at the Olympic Games
If you’re a fan of Asterix and his ever faithful companion Obelix, then you’ve probably been keeping tabs on Asterix at the Olympic Games (PlayStation 2, Wii, PC, Nintendo DS) by Atari.
Since the first public unveiling of Asterix in 1959, the series really took off with a good run of 33 books, cartoons, and numerous video games dating as far back as the Atari 2600. This new game is based on the comic Asterix at the Olympic Games which came out in 1968 and was later translated to English at 1972.
Three playable characters will be available in Asterix at the Olympic Games: Asterix, Obelix, and Dogmatix. The game also has an original story which tackles some of the parts not featured in both the film and comic book. The heroes have to stop Brutus who has found a way to breach the game between the book, the film, and the game while trying to win the Olympic Games.
