We can’t wait to get our hands on the new maps included in Halo 3‘s new Heroic Map Pack, which will become available on December 11 courtesy of Bungie Studios. Luckily for us, we’ve got some screenshots of the downloadable content.

As we have mentioned in a previous article, the Heroic Map Pack consists of three maps: Standoff, Rat’s Nest, and the Foundry, and will be available for 800 Microsoft Points.

Here’s Standoff, formerly known as Jodrell Bank, an outdoor playground sprinkled with hills, rocks, and the occasional tree. This map can accommodate any number of players.

This is Rat’s Nest. This indoor map is perfect for 6 to 16 players, and is ideal for games such as Multi-flag, Territories, Neutral Bomb, and Team Slayer.

Finally, here’s the Foundry. This map is suited for 4 – 12 players, and almost any type of games will work well in this map, especially Territories and Assault.

Again, these maps will be available starting December 11. More updates to come!
