Screenshots of Pandemic’s Saboteur; platform not yet announced
The video game Saboteur by Pandemic Studios has a very interesting concept. This game was mentioned in passing in a previous article, but no new information has surfaced until recently. Essentially a WWII stealth game, it focuses on the French resistance and their campaign against the Nazi regime.
Very little has been revealed about the game. We are intrigued with the way color plays a role in the game. The areas of the city held by the Nazi are viewed in black and white. As the player performs missions, the city slowly regains its color. When the color has been restored, the locals of the area become more hostile to the Nazis.
Aside from this, we also see the character hanging from a window, attacking Nazis, and hiding around a corner. We couldn’t help but wonder if the game has context-sensitive areas that will allow your character to perform actions depending on the situation.
Saboteur is slated to be released 2008 in Europe, but there hasn’t been word from Pandemic Studios on the platform/s the game will be released on. Check out the screenshots of the game and see if this video game catches your attention.
