Second Heavy Rain Chronicles DLC on hold indefinitely
If you can’t wait for what comes after the Taxidermist, well, you’re going have to wait a little more. Joystiq took a trip down to the Sony booth at E3, and they discovered that the second episode of the Heavy Rain Chronicles is on hold. Indefinitely.
If you can’t wait for what comes after the Taxidermist, well, you’re going have to wait a little more. Joystiq took a trip down to the Sony booth at E3, and they discovered that the second episode of the Heavy Rain Chronicles is on hold. Indefinitely.
According to Quantic Dream’s Guillame de Fondaumière, Sony encouraged them to focus on the Move-compatible version of the game more than the second episode. As of now, they’re not quite sure about the status of the DLC, other than the fact that is on hold indefinitely. The second episode reportedly has the Origami Killer as a playable character, so yea, that’s something to think about.
You might be thinking that “Well, they could work on the DLC after the Move version.” de Fondaumière, however, indicated that they’re likely to move on to their next project, leaving the next episode in development limbo. As for the next project, fat chance of them saying anything this early.
