hydrophobiaWe all thought Hydrophobia was going to end up as another vaporware, until Dark Energy Digital decided to show up and bring it along with them at the recent Pax 2010. Thank goodness they did, too, cos we were all delighted to see some more graphical goodness headed to the PS3.

Adding to the excitement of this “revival” was the launch of the game’s official website, housing a new trailer and screenshots. There is, however, more than meets the eye with this website. You just need to give it a closer look and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Or better yet, you can just continue reading this article.

You’d want to look at the bottom of the game’s official front page. See those small dots lining up each side? Right, now click on those; that should lead you to another website.

On this new website, there should be a Youtube video that displays images not for the faint-hearted. Unless you’re used to getting up in the morning and seeing a hanging man, or eating maggots for breakfast, or receiving cryptic messages of “Save the World” on your answering machine, in which case, you should be fine.

A mysterious box also catches the eye, and it looks like you’re supposed to input some sort of password or code. Again, it’s all very mysterious, but it sure keeps things way exciting doesn’t it?

Go on, check it out yourself, and follow the instructions so you’ll see the surprise.
