Sega releases patch for Xbox 360 Virtua Fighter 5
So you think you’ve seen everything in Sega‘s Virtua Fighter 5 for the Xbox 360? Think again. Just when you think that the game couldn’t be any better, here comes a patch which will liven up the popular fighting franchise a little bit more. Details in the full article.
The Xbox 360 version of Sega‘s Virtua Fighter 5 has been released for some time already, but that doesn’t mean that you’ve already seen everything that the game has to offer. Sega Europe just announced that a new patch for Virtua Fighter 5 has been released, offering new online battle enhancements, including the use of gamer pictures in online matches as well as saving online replays.
Other revisions to Virtua Fighter 5‘s online battle mode include making ranking sortings a bit easier, being able to do rematches with opponents who aren’t added to one’s friends list, and letting gamers check out the connection quality of other players.
There are two new twists added to the character costumes in Virtua Fighter 5: pants can now be swapped between alternate costumes (for example, wearing Costume A pants along with Costume B). Also, characters can equip one additional item. These additional items can be accessed in the Costume Settings section, and are displayed as “downloaded items”.
