Saying we’re in a season of iconic video game mascots fighting against each other is probably not far from the truth – there’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, and even Sega Superstars Tennis. What we have here is the debut trailer of Sega’s next sports title for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, and both Nintendo Wii and DS featuring Sonic and other popular characters under Sega’s banner

Included in the all-star line-up are Aiai from Super Monkey Ball, Beat from Jet Grind Radio, Ulala from Space Channel 5, Amigo from Samba de Amigo, NiGHTS from the series of the same name, and Sonic’s nemesis Doctor Eggman. They all appear in the CG trailer, as they’re seen whacking balls and cheering when Sonic defeats his arch enemy.
