Take away those cans of Game Fuel, because manlier Sengoku Basara 2: Heroes drinks are coming. Capcom‘s action-packed entry to the series known as Devil Kings in the west (often compared to Koei’s Dynasty Warriors) now has its own themed drinks by Apris to promote the game‘s release on the Nintendo Wii.
The brash Masamune Date appears on a sports drink, spirited Yukimura Sanada is on orange juice cans, while the wise Katakura Kojuro is associated with oolong tea. Fans of these feudal Japan celebrities should be able to appreciate how the characters and their personalities were considered when deciding who to put on what drink.
Apris, known for producing other promotional drinks, is churning out these refreshers in limited quantity. Each drink costs 157 yen (approximately US$ 1.41) and can only be purchased from Animate stores in Japan, so you’ll have to put some work into getting one.
