Serpent’s Spine Expansion for Everquest Now Available

Enter – the Drakkin.

With their future in question, six dragons have defied the Council of the Ancient Dragons of the Nest, and have created the race of Drakkin in order to preserve their own kind.

The Drakkin are borne of humans, touched by a dragon‘s blood. Their colors and appearance reflect those of the dragon who created them. Unlike ordinary humans, Drakkin age rapidly, becoming fully adult in a matter of months. Upon reaching maturity, they forget their human origins. Like the salmon who return to the stream where they were born, Drakkin are drawn back to the Crescent Reach, where they are reunited with their dragon creators and others of their race.

Everquest’s first new playable race in a long time is included in their upcoming expansion, Serpent’s Spine. Among other features, players will now be able to reach Level 75, and have access to new spells and skills, allowing them to undertake raids and quests with greater power. This expansion contains all the content necessary for advancement, as well as a new starting city. Crescent Reach is fully functioning, containing everything players need to learn in order to survive and thrive in the world of Everquest. Thus, players will be able to reach the top level without ever leaving the Serpent Spine Mountains.

The Serpent’s Spine expansion will be available as a digital download through the EQ website in September, and will retail for $29.99 USD. The base game is required for this expansion.
