Sex in Sony’s PlayStation Home?
Given the massive visual and conceptual similarities to Linden Lab‘s Second Life – of course that’s not counting the supposed eherm, “ease of entry” advantage that Sony claims to have – Joystiq’s Bonnie Ruberg points out that he can’t help but speculate that PlayStation Home will soon be used for sexual activity.
Quick, name a communicative online space that doesn’t have sex in it? Second Life has it, MySpace has umpteen tons of it, Tauren and gnomes are even trying to do it in Azeroth. Why should Sony’s Home be free from it?
Given that Three Speech has informed that folks will be able to share – and decorate- their Homes with the media files saved in their PlayStation 3 hard disk drives, we now fear the things we’ll be seeing in some folks’ Homes. Adult content on PlayStation Home. Hah! More reason for you to buy a Bravia.
Well what about you folks? What’s your take on the possibility that PlayStation Home will be infested with perversion?
