Shadowrun test game in Microsoft campus – if you’re game enough
FASA wants you to test out Shadowrun (Xbox 360, PC) this Saturday, March 17, 7-11pm in Microsoft’s Redmond campus, as announced in their Shadowrun forums. But it can’t be just any you. You have to be a competitive player – one of those guys who’ve participated in large-scale recognized multiplayer tournaments (great. That slashes a lot of us out of the qualified population).
Anyway, if you’re a LAN frag vet, and you meet the following qualifications (including being in Redmond this weekend to actually participate), send an email titled “MS Gamer Contact” to [email protected] with the following details to get in line (no stealing of underwear now, you hear?)
- Real name
- Gamer name
- Competitive game of choice
- Email address
- Summary of competitive gaming experience
Again, you can stand in that line only if you’ve got the following qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- For PC gamers:
- has played at least one season in a CAL-M equivalent or higher division, AND/OR
- has played in a large international LAN tournament (CPL, WCG, WSVG), and finished with at least one non-bye victory
- For console gamers, at least one of the following qualifications on Halo 2:
- rank 32 or higher on Live
- has played in a large LAN tournament (see the same for PC, yada yada), also finished with at least one non-bye victory.
Like we said: that cuts down the qualified population much.
