Shawn Storc on the development of Lego Indiana Jones - Image 1There’s no doubt that Lego Indiana Jones (PC, Xbox 360, DS, PS3, Wii, PSP) going to make its way to a plethora of consoles. To those of who are anticipating the game, Shawn Storc, Lucas Arts‘ producer for the game was able to share information on its development.

In his interview, Storc said that they believed Lego-fying Indiana Jones was a step they couldn’t resist because it encourages exploration, adventure, and cooperative gameplay with a good dose of humor.

To allow the gamers to get an authentic feel of the adventures of Indiana Jones, they aligned the game with the first three movies. They had to make the plastic figures to “move more like real people, demonstrate athletic ability, and really take the interactions to the next level.”

In Lego Indiana Jones, the characters are  “more in tune with their surroundings and physically active as they encounter puzzles, traps, and enemies,” unlike that of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (PS3Xbox 360WiiDS).

As for surprise cameos from previous games, Storc commented, “It wouldn’t be fun if I gave always all the secrets now, would it? Players should keep a watchful eye out for a variety of subtle and not-so-subtle references to LSW.”

With that, be sure to stick around QJ as we will be bringing you more news and updates on this game.
