Shinji Hashimoto would like to do another CG movie

The name “Final Fantasy” wasn’t quite strong enough to wash away the sour taste that was “The Spirits Within”, but when it comes to CG movies, Advent Children proved that Square Enix can definitely look to that direction with expectations. Asked if they’d like to do another one, senior VP Shinji Hashimoto is very open to that idea.

Asked if they’d like to do another one, senior VP Shinji Hashimoto isvery open to that idea.

 

“Although, we haven’t thought about it there is always new CG technology we’re researching,” Hashimoto told Korean site Gameshot. “If I have a chance, I would like to try again.” Hasimoto is also the producer of The Spirits Within.

 

The success of Advent Children Complete, however, may be attributed more to FF7 than Square Enix’s prodigious CG skill and *ehem* story writing. Still, should they take another stab at it, there should still be a decent amount of interest for it.
