Shiny new F1 Championship screens!
Being an absolute sucker for anything related to Formula 1, I’ve been somewhat disappointed in the recent past because the exclusive rights of any official F1 game lie with Sony. Personally, now I’ve been a PC gamer mostly, so I’ve only got to play the last two games on my PSP. Add in the fact that there’s hardly any realism in the F1 games these days.
Now, Sony is building the next version of the official F1 game for the PS3, and most probably for the PSP too. And the great thing is that they’ve released some new and shiny screenshots showing off all the eye-candy in the game. And you know what? They look absolutely effin fantastic! These days, you can safely take the shiny stuff for granted.
The latest version will also have the updated drivers and teams from the current season, plus true-to-life modeled cars. What we’re a little worried about is gameplay. I’d happily buy a PS3 if they gave me some real authentic racing with the ability to setup everything in my car down to a single bolt. We’ll have to wait for more details, we guess.
For now, enjoy the awesome screenshots.
