Shipment of free Halo 3 copies delayed
A couple of months ago, Microsoft gave out a rather tempting offer: get a free copy of Halo 3 when you get a new Xbox 360 unit and upgrade to Xbox Live Gold.
Well, the date for the arrival of the freebie has come and gone, and still the free copy of the game has yet to arrive. What could have gone wrong, and what does Microsoft intend to do about it? Read on, especially if you’re one of those still waiting.
If you’re one of those gamers expecting a free copy of Halo 3 from Microsoft for upgrading to Xbox Live gold and registering the new console’s serial number back in November, you must be wondering whatever happened to that freebie. We do know it was supposed to arrive at your doorsteps last January 18th, but it still is nowhere to be found.
Xbox360 Fanboy is reporting that all free Halo 3 shipments have been delayed. However, Microsoft has given out its reassurance that the good folks who completed the offer will be getting their copy of the game within three weeks.
So there you go. There is light at the end of this dreary tunnel after all. Let’s just hope Microsoft does good on its word.
