Sierra Online has announced that it will be releasing Lost Cities for the Xbox 360. Expect the game to hit the Xbox Live Arcade this Spring for 800 Microsoft Points (around US$ 10).

For those who aren’t too familiar with this Lost Cities, it is essentially a software version of the popular card game of the same name. Players essentially have to field expeditions using a set number of cards.

Successful expeditions gain the player points while unsuccessful ones subtract a certain amount from a player’s point pool. The competitor with the most points at the end of three rounds wins the game.

The original Lost Cities card game is actually pretty fun though this blogger can’t imagine slogging through multiple games without some sort of reward (like the advancement of a story perhaps?). Hopefully, Sierra decides to add a story mode for those who would prefer to play the game alone.

That said, why don’t you check out some screenshots of Lost Cities and see if it catches your interest?
