Tetris is more than just a game, it’s an institution, an icon, and inspiration behind the hilarious Japanese Human Tetris game show. To celebrate this milestone, Tetris rights owner Blue Planet Software plans to unveil a motion-based Tetris game later this year.

Details are still a bit scant at the moment, but Blue Planet Software president Henk Rogers has revealed that they plan to unveil a motion-based Tetris game at the Burning Man Celebration this year. The controls will involve a guy standing on a certain platform, using his motions to interact with the pieces falling on a huge screen. No word on which console this game is to be demoed on or released for.
