SimCity for the iPhone coming this December

Another major franchise is jumping on board the iPhone wagon: SimCity. Not only can you play god and torment your citizens with a tornado out of nowhere, but now you can do it on the go too! The game will come out on the App store sometime this December.

Another major franchise is jumping on board the iPhone wagon: SimCity. Not only can you play god and torment your citizens with a tornado out of nowhere, but now you can do it on the go too!

The game has a pretty Sim City 3000 vibe to it, according to VentureBeat (no, that screen to the left is not the iPhone game), making use of the device’s touch screen (of course).

The SimCity franchise is not a stranger to touch screens (or to portable devices for that matter) as a DS version was released last year. SimCity for the iPhone will come out some time this December on the App Store, with an expected price tag of US$ 9.99.
