simExchange presents December 2007 sales forecast

The folks over at NPD will be handing in the official December sales soon, and analysts have already sent in their forecasts about how it will turn out, including Michael Pachter and Colin Sebastian. This time, it’s simExchange’s turn to give gamers and anyone interested their own insight about the December sales turnout.
Quite remarkably, simExchange’s predictions (as presented by Jesse Divnich) for December 2007 show Xbox 360 soaring high with 1.45 million consoles sold, maintaining its lead ahead of the PS3 (which scored about 854,000 units sold). However, Nintendo’s Wii still maintained its lead with a total of 1.73 units.
As for the handheld gaming arena, Nintendo’s ever-popular DS is still sitting on a lofty position with an estimated 2.9 million units sold, with the Sony PSP trailing behind at 1.03 million units.
