Six North American realms to go live for BC launch

TBC

One day to go before Burning Crusade hits store shelves and the people at Blizzard are really aiming to give you a smooth, lag-free gaming experience. After announcing that they’ll be opening eight European realms on BC’s launch, Drsyc from WoW forums posted that they’ll be launching the following North American realms with the release of BC. These realms are the following:

  • Nagrand – PvE, Oceanic – Bloodlust battlegroup
  • Velen – PvE, Pacific
  • Coilfang – PvP, Pacific
  • Terokkar – PvE, Central
  • Exodar – PvE, Eastern
  • Auchindoun – PvP, Eastern

Drysc also noted that “the majority of these realms will be placed in a new battlegroup, the name of which has yet to be announced. These are new non-transfer realms and as such the Gates of AhnÂ’Qiraj will be closed and they will not be open to character transfers for six months.”

Just a heads up for those guys who are itching to grab their own copy of BC and log a lot of hours playing World of Warcraft.
