SIXAXIS LED modification: Feeling blue
M37R01D has a forum post that features a Sixaxis controller modification where the red LEDs were swapped with blue ones. Also, another blue LED was added for the PS button.

M37R01D’s major complaint with the modification process was that the controller’s power source only outputs 2.8v. This requires him to find 2.8 volt LEDs or find a way to juice up the output with a transistor.
Now the color change isn’t that big a difference, but you have to admit, that glowy PS button is a bit cool.
