SKATE “flicks it” with Mike Carroll
A second video featuring SKATE‘s intuitive Flickit control scheme has real world boarding legend Mike Carroll show you what it takes to make his board and his feet do wicked skateboarding ballet. This video is so hot off the presses that it can’t even be found yet in Electronic Arts‘ official site for SKATE (coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3).
If you looked close enough at the video though, you’ll find that some of the Flickit controls are only slightly varied, showing that you’ll have to exercise those thumbs for precise flicking if you want to differentiate your nollie attempt from a nollie flip. You’ll also notice that not all skaters have the same Flickit equivalent of their board-flipping moves, so while a few Flickit videos are out, you might want to take a few notes.
