Skatto Golf Pangya Update – What, No Online Multiplayer Mode?

Tecmo released that it was working on a Skatto Golf Pangya game for the Revolution a while back. The game will be based on an online PC golf game. However, it looks like the Revolution title will not be a direct port and will surprisingly feature no online mode. Instead, Tecmo is apparently concentrating on the single player.

Skatto Golf Pangya will feature a unique story mode for each of its different characters and allow costumes to customize them. Although online multiplayer has been scratched, the developers are really looking into using the Nintendo WiFi Connection to allow for downloadable content. The controller will also be used to great use. You’ll use the controller as a golf club, obviously. You can also play it “normally” by using the buttons. Currently, it’s only set for Japan and should see a release in the launch window. No word on whether or not it’ll be at E3 – we’ll keep you posted.
