Small Update to Chaos DS Rolled Out
Quirky’s Chaos Advance has been ported to the DS by bob_fossil. So far there have been two updates, the latest of which boasting to be more stable than the the first fairly stable release. Today, bob_fossil presents us with a small update (which we’ll label 100706 to avoid any confusion), consisting of the following new features:
– Up / down / right d-pad buttons now do the right thing in the spell select menu.
– Fixed some more text colours.
– Hopefully, touch screen input is a little bit more reliable.
– Touch screen now works in ‘DISMOUNT WIZARD’ message and in player select screen.
– Fixed end game colour cycling.
– Cursor could go out of bounds if you tapped across the bottom of the screen.
There are still some stuff still broken in the game, though. The list goes:
– Creatures aren’t highlighted at start of movement round.
– Sleep mode option doesn’t work.
– Wizard death routine.
