SmashMyPS3 updates (swear all you want, we won’t mind)

You know them. You more or less hate them. They went through with it. (You may start swearing like a sailor all you want; we won’t mind, although the autobleeper will still work). SmashMyPS3 went through, lined up and bought their PS3, and as they advertised, smashed their PS3. In front of a camera. For YouTube uploading. And they call it a “social experiment.”

Some people were just hoping that they would be something like fifteenth in line in a store with only 14 PS3s or something… or randomly mugged, BB’d, or offered a PC to smash. But, to be fair, those PS3 campers who were waiting in line while SmashMyPS3 sledgehammered one of Sony‘s newest babies in front of them, they know now how Xbox fanatics must have felt when SmashMy smashed an Xbox 360.

Which only goes to show: SmashMy’s off of Santa’s list this Christmas. If they even believe in Santa. Worse yet, SmashMyWii’s remaining in their hit list. And with Nintendo promising ample supply, chances are they can and will get their hands on not just one, BUT TWO WIIs (as they advertise in their site). Okay, they’re off Hanukkah and Kwanzaa as well.
