Have you ever wondered what the job of a motion-capture model is like? Wonder no more, as Insomniac Games gives us a glimpse into two actual Resistance 2 motion-capture sessions, complete with snarls, growls and other guttural sounds. See what we mean by watching the videos after the jump.

The job of a motion capture model may sound like fun, but it isn’t all fun and games – especially if it involves mo-cap work for a game like Resistance 2. In the two videos below, Insomniac Games gives us a glimpse into what the work is like for the upcoming sequel.

In the first video, the motion-capture actor goes all primal as he fully immerses himself into the role of a Chimera, even to the point of “knocking” his mo-cap director down and “beating him up.” The second video shows our would-be-Chimera making an acrobatic leap while playing tag with his director. Fortunately, he missed the fellow.

With all the growling, snarling, gurgling and panting going around, it kind of makes you wonder exactly how in-character the actor really is. Nevertheless, it’s better if you see it for yourselves, so without further ado, here are the Insomniac Games’ Resistance 2 videos.
