SNK prepping Metal Slug 3 for the XBLA
Nearly a year ago, SNK hinted that they were making plans to bring Metal Slug over to Xbox Live Arcade. In case you’ve been keeping your fingers crossed for an update, we’ve got some good news lined up for today. SNK is sending out a press wire announcing their game line up for this year’s Tokyo Game Show, and it includes Metal Slug 3 for XBLA.
Yup, Marco, Tarma (and hotties Fio and Eri) are finally confirmed to be 360-bound. Although given this is still just for Japan, we’re going to have to wait for word of Metal Slug 3‘s North America release. The third installment to the Metal Slug franchise carries several new features, including the Elephant Slug and Level Armor vehicles, and the Zombie and Jet Pack character transformations.
And as this is for XBLA, it’ll be interesting to see what sort of extra tweaks SNK may decide to add to this old side-scroller favorite. Drop by in case we pick up any related news.
