SOCOM 4 Senior Designer: SOCOM 2 was the “elite” game, but 4 could be amazing

A lot of fans are duly impressed with the Socom franchise thus far. It comes as no surprise, therefore, to find them all very much excited as well when CJ Heine, Senior Designer for Socom 4, recently said in an interview session that the fourth iteration of the franchise “has the most potential to be something really amazing.”

The benchmark for Socom so far would be the second title, which, even Heine had to admit, was the “elite game.” To have Socom 4 beat that standard is then definitely saying something.

 

 

 

 

 

There’s still no release date for Socom 4, but Heine did confirm that it will be making an appearance at this year’s E3, only 2 weeks away. It will be playable with a Dualshock controller, and a brand new level will be displayed on the floor as well.
