Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back goes gold, screenshots included
Good news, FPS fans – the ultra-violent shooter with the gritty and realistic dismemberment-by-bullet mechanics, Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back, has recently gone gold. This means that the contents of the game itself is already locked down and is just begging to be released onto stores. The title is scheduled for November 13 for the PC and Xbox 360 versions, while the PlayStation 3 version will be on the shelves on November 20.

For those looking for some fine First Person Shooting action that’s a bit more on the gory side (i.e. decapitations, dismemberment, good clean fun), look no more as Activision‘s Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back for the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and PC has recently gone gold. And it seems we’ll be making some terrorists spurt digital blood earlier than we expected, with the Xbox 360 and PC versions out on November 13, and the PS3 version on November 20 of this year.
And besides the early Christmas present from Activision, it seems that we’re going to be racking up the gamerpoints with Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back‘s Xbox 360 version. The publisher claims that the game itself will have over 40 achievements, and will reward the player on every action he or she makes, “just like a real mercenary.” Does that sound awesome to you? Yes, it sure does.
Definitely a great update from the guys over at Activision, in any case. We’ll keep you informed on the latest updates regarding Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back, so keep it locked right here. In the meantime, let’s let these screenshots tide us over the wait.
