Something Indestructible Comes to Wii
During the 15th century, Japan underwent the period of Sengoku. It means when translated literally, warring countries. Koei was kind of hoping their Sengoku Musou Wave (aka Samurai Warriors Wave) will be the only game of its kind for Wii. After all, they are best known for historical simulation game. Capcom, on the other hand now, wouldn’t simply acquiesce.
To continue further its support for Nintendo, Capcom announced today its plans of bringing a new Sengoku Basara game to the Wii. For those in the US, that would mean Devil Kings for you. At this point, any details and specifics are still being withheld. We just know that it is coming out on the PS2 as well.
Things like this are essentially good for the emerging Wii market. Competition levels up quality, not only within Wii but among all the other next-gen consoles as well. With that said, Koei’s Samurai Warriors might want to get ready for this Basara game. In case you are wondering, Basara stands for indestructible substance.
