Sonic The Hedgehog Website Now Open!
The new website for Sonic’s newest venture for the PS3 and the XBox360 is now up and running. The website relishes the fact that their mascot hast lived through 15 years in the gaming industry. In its intro, it gives visitors a primer on how the game and company was established since 1991 and has solved over 4,000,000 games in its lifetime. They’re proving not only to their fans but to the game industry that Sonic hasn’t stopped running yet.
We have seen the innumerable amount of screencaps and videos about the game. However, Sega finally gives us a primer on what this game is all about. In their introduction, they tell us that the game is all about speed. Gaining top speed is your objective in this game. As pretty as the world looks, this should not stop you at all, but as they put it, you have to use it to your advantage. The scale of this game’s graphics and movie is as large as Hollywood. The graphics are great and using real time graphics, nothing can be more as fun as this.
There is one surprise that the website shows us. In this game, one of Sonic’s playable pals, Silver, will have a Telepath Mode. In Telepath mode, Silver is able to move cars, block missiles, open bars, and even fly with just the use of his telepathic skills.
In the end, this game can keep us on the lookout for what Sega has in store for us. It seems that they are utilizing the graphic engines of the next-gen consoles, however, we do know that even if it looks pretty, it might not feels as good as the old one. Let’s hope Sega keeps in mind how fun Sonic’s world is, the fun that has made this game last for 15 years.
