Sonic’s Wild Fire Adventure in Nintendo’s Wii

Sega’s got another new adventure for our speedy friend, Sonic. He seems to be rushing into a Wild Fire in Nintendo’s new console, Wii! The name of the game is Sonic Wild Fire (still a working title), an adventure game inspired by the Arabian Nights.

As you start the game, you discover that the last few pages of the Arabian Nights are missing and Sonic’s responsible in rewriting these last few pages again. For this game, Sonic and his friends will be adventuring in arid terrains and lush oasis. It’s nothing Sonic can’t handle.

This game intends to use the Nintendo Wii’s revolutionary controller. By holding the controller horizontally with two hands, you can make Sonic dash to the left or break to the right. It might be quite an upper body exercise to make Sonic run through the course and escape from the fiendish thieves, but this is all part of what Sega considers as a new gaming experience for Sonic Fans.

More than the main game, there are also mini-games that you could use to either practice some dashes or to play with your friends. The game also has a multiplayer mode so that you and your friends could race towards the finish. The game is slated to be released in 2007.
