Sony accessories coming? Details on PS3 Headset, PSP GPS, more - Image 1If this turns out to be legit, it’s fun times out there for Sony gamers. A leaked Power Point Presentation has revealed upcoming accessories for both the PSP and the PlayStation 3. The list is pretty sweet, including a Skype Headset Kit and GPS tracker for the PSP, and a Bluetooth Headset for the PS3. Read about the (still unconfirmed) official Sony accessories in the full article.

A number of sources are citing a supposedly leaked Power Point presentation revealing a bunch of new accessories for the Sony platforms that are set to come out in the U.S. some time in the middle of the year. Unfortunately, Sony hasn’t officially confirmed them yet.

When Sony Computer Entertainment America was asked for a comment, the only reply was that “any information is speculation and rumor.” Still, if this turns out to be true, the new accessories are pretty sweet and belongs on a lot of wish lists.

Some of the more notable things coming are a Skype Headset Kit and a GPS Unit for the PSP (the U.S. version of the Go!Explore feature in Europe?), and a Bluetooth Headset for the PlayStation 3 that supports voice commands (a hint of upcoming games?).

So would this level the playing field after Microsoft announced the price cut for the Xbox 360? Probably not, but it’s still a plus. Here are the purported accessories coming in for the PSP and PlayStation 3:
