Sony EU releases official PS3 Euro launch details

According to Three Speech, official details will come this midnight, and whaddya know, SCE Europe has already released the details and we have them right in our hands right now!

We know you’ve been itching to get the official details for a long time now so we won’t dilly-dally any longer. Here are the official PS3 Euro launch details as released by Sony.

  • The PS3 will be launched in the PAL territories of Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Australasia on March 23, 2007 at a price of € 599 (£ 425, AU$ 999.95, NZ$ 1199.95, US$ 776).
  • One million PS3 units will be made available during the initial launch period and only the 60GB model would be available, with the 20GB model to follow later in the year dependent on demand.

As for the games that will debut on the PlayStation Network and will be available for download during the launch, here’s the full list:

AND, as for the official list you’ve all been waiting for — the launch title lineup. You’ll be glad to know that the list is a MASSIVE one. 27 titles all in all, baby! And that’s just the disc releases. Add to that the games on the PS Network, there will be more than 30 titles to be released along with the console’s launch.
