Sony’s official PS3 website has provided more clear indications that the PS3 will be capable of using a hard disk drive. Listed as an accessory it is grouped with other media storage types the PS3 is able to use.

This is definitely good news for all the PS3 fans who have been worrying about media storage capabilities of the PS3 and whether it will be able to serve media like mp3’s, movies and pictures.
