Sony kicks off Akihabara Enta festival 2006
If Sony writes a letter for the PS3, the Akihabara Enta festival is the postscript. We’re sure there will be more PS3 exhibitions to come even during the final day of the pre-launch. But we were thinking Sony has really got to show us something that our Japanese friends rave about in Akihabara. Not to hype the PS3 further, but we’ll be showing some photos taken at the said event so North American and European gamers don’t miss out on what these uber-lucky folks in Japan experienced.
This event took place on October 28 to 29, whereas last year it was held on the 22nd to the 30th of the same month. If you were half as curious as we were, you’d be glad to know that Sony showed off goodies for the PSP-GPS, PSP-Eyetoy, Playstation-Spot, the PSP, and the PS2, apart from goodies for our main baby the PS3. Just take a gander at the scene shots below and say, “Sonyyyyy, we want the PS3!”
