Sony Korea to launch PlayStation 3 in June
Korean gamers will soon have their own PlayStation 3, hopefully come June. News has it that SCE Korea has already been working working with its head office in Japan regarding the release date of the PS3 for Korea.
It is still unconfirmed as of yet as to what models will be available, and most importantly, for how much will the units be sold. The Korean office is just waiting for the go signal from SCEJ, but once they’re given the green light, SCEK will then begin with their aggressive marketing campaign.
Prediction is that Sony will launch in Korea a deluxe model of the PS3, accompanied with a wireless LAN adapter, as well as a 60GB hard disk. As for the price, speculation is that it will be pegged between W500,000 (about US$ 540) and W600,000 (about US$ 650).
