The Sony PSP Media Manager box art - Image 1Sometimes it pays to be patient and not grab software right away, especially if it involves something like the Sony PSP Media Manager. The reason? Japanese PSP owners may now download the PSP Media Manager for free, courtesy of Sony’s PlayStation Store.

It would seem that the U.S. has gotten the short end of the stick again, but that may not necessarily be the case. You see, while the instructions are in Japanese, the odd thing about is that the Japanese version of the PSP Media manager runs in English. And yes, even non-Japanese customers may download the software as well, so all you really have to do is make it through the Japanese language installation somehow.

Unfortunately, this will probably be a cause for uproar among Sony’s U.S. customers who actually forked over their hard-earned dough in order to purchase the software, but at least U.S. PSP owners who may have thought twice about buying it before can now try it out for free.
