Sony puts up PSP Cafe
Ah, the smell of the rich scent of coffee on a lazy afternoon while mashing the buttons on your new PSP-2000. Want to experience how gaming can become such a relaxing experience? Then do drop by at the Sony Building in Ginza, Tokyo, where you can get free coffee and play on a PSP Slim.
The images taken by Kotaku show a casual-style cafe styled like your typical coffee shop, except for a few strange details: PSP-2000 units are used as accent and centerpiece details in the cafe, and there’s even a Sony-Playstation logo-shaped bonsai that adorns the counter. For those who want to watch television, PSP Slim units hooked to TV sets are put up to entertain bored but faintly interested guests. Nothing screams “Sony!” any louder than that.
Sadly, the PSP Cafe won’t be a permanent fixture of the Sony building. It will stay open only until September 16 presumably as part of Sony’s efforts to market the new revision of Sony’s portable console.
