With all the rumors and speculations circulating about the PS3 price drop and the new 40GB SKU, there’s bound to be some sort of official comment from Sony. However, the electronic gaming mogul has opted to keep shut about the appealing bit of news.
Next-Gen tried to get Sony’s comment about the PS3 pricing and 40GB rumors, only to be shot down by the usual “It’s our policy not to comment on rumors or speculation” comment.
We’re not really surprised, actually. Sony seems to prefer denying their future plans before they’re ready to announce it to the world. Remember the rumored PSP redesign? Or the PS3 price cuts? The rumors preceding the official comments were always denied.
