Sony Santa Monica: God of War won’t end with III
God of War III may be wrapping up the trilogy that started back on the PS2, but that doesn’t mean Sony is letting go of one of their most popular and lucrative franchises.
God of War III may be wrapping up the trilogy that started back on the PS2, but that doesn’t mean Sony is letting go of one of their most popular and lucrative franchises.
In an interview with Gamervision, Sony Santa Monica director of product development John Hight said that the trilogy’s end doesn’t signal the end of the franchise:
This is not the end of God of War. This is definitely the end of the trilogy, but we’re going to continue to do God of War games. We’re going to be very careful about what we do. We’re the keepers of the franchise and we don’t want to see it ruined or polluted.
God of War III comes out this March as a PS3 exclsuive.
