It’s time to labor in the rumor mill once again, ladies and gents. Word on the street is that Sony has acquired a new video game developer to add to its collection. It’s time to labor in the rumor mill once again, ladies and gents. Word on the street is that Sony has acquired a new video game developer to add to its collection. Sources from Twitter indicate that Sony and the developer have reached an agreement, and we should be expecting an announcement soon.
According to Gamesblow’s page, the agreement has already been reached and that they can no longer reveal more about the subject. The credibility isn’t top tier, but they’re quite confident about this one. The informant says that the news will break soon.
Gameknows page reveals info about the developer in question, saying that the company has some great RPGs, as well as a hint of the dev’s profile. “Sony probably will be acquiring a Japanese developing company. A small to medium company. More details soon,” they said.
Seems to me like the developer in question is Level 5 – a Japanese game developer with great RPGs under its belt. It’s also a plus to the rumor that Level 5 Games is the one behind the PS3-exclusive, White Knight Chronicles. That’s my guess. For now, it’s time to wait for the announcement of this mystery developer.
