Sony PSP - Image 1As with all updates, there’s always that persistent little bug that’s able to crawl its way into the system. PSP’s Firmware 5.0 is no different, and so is not immune to such issues.

As you all know by now, FW 5.0 came with the newly added feature of direct access to the PlayStation Store. The folks over at Sony then found out that there is an issue as regards to the larger-capacity Memory Stick PRO Duos.

Apparently, when downloading content from the Store to your handheld with an 8 GB or 16 GB MemStick in use, a message pops up saying that the media does not have enough free space — even when this is not the case!

Not to worry, though. They’ll be rolling out an update very soon, they say. And they promise that update 5.01 will resolve this issue so you shouldn’t get that memory problem any longer. No word yet as to when exactly the update will arrive, but you can bet we’ll be right on it for you.

In the meantime, keep it posted here at QJ for more gaming news and updates.
