Sony’s CES 2008 presentation to reveal Skype for the PSP

But this time, it’s finally official: we’re going to get Skype for the PSP, according to Sony‘s CES 2008 webpage. More details in the full article!

Skype - Image 1Indeed, the New Year is starting off with a bang for handheld gaming. The DS is finally getting its downloadable content feature, and now the Sony CES 2008 website states that the PSP will finally have Skype.

Here’s what the website has to say about the PSP and the upcoming Skype integration: “Call friends, talk trash to fellow gamers or catch up with acquaintances via Skype for PSP system.

Trash talking via PSP? Yes, it is indeed the one of the biggest things that will hit the PSP since homebrew. Actually, this feature has been hinted at several months ago in the decrypted version of PSP firmware 3.10, but its only now that we finally have confirmation that yes, gamers can now spit out trash talk towards fellow gamers using their PSPs.
