Sony’s Michael Ephraim suggests users should upgrade their PS3 HD
Sony Computer Entertainment Australia‘s big wig, Michael Ephraim, has advised that people who are anticipating the rumored 120 GB PS3 should just upgrade their consoles to their desired specification since it won’t be long until PlayTV launches. Check out the details in the full article.
If you’re itching for more news related to the coming of Play TV and the rumored 120 GB PS3, better heed the words of Sony Computer Entertainment Australia‘s Michael Ephraim.
People who are eagerly anticipating the 120 GB PS3 models should just upgrade their HDs as suggested by Ephraim. He added that, “The hard drive issue, we’ve done it so you can upgrade the hard drive.”
Ephraim also commented that, “It’s non-proprietary, and you do have external hard drives.” Furthermore, he explained and noted that retailers may stock up on the PS3 consoles with increased hard drive capacity when PlayTV actually launches.
Finally, Ephraim has an advice to those who have plans of utilizing the said service. He commented:
With PlayTV, yes you will need more storage and retailers will probably accommodate those needs for consumers. As we all know, the price of hard drive space is coming down. If we do it, fine, but if we don’t do it, the consumer will still have choice.
Simply put, rather than wait for the release of the rumored console, you may want to upgrade the HD of your PS3s instead if you’re looking for more space on your consoles.
