Soul Calibur 4 scans reveal new characters Ashlotte and Shura

Heads up, Soul Calibur 4 (PS3, Xbox 360) fans! We’ve found scans that feature two new characters for the game as created by some renowned Japanese artists. After the jump, look at the pics of Ashlotte Meideru and Shura and learn more about them!

Two new characters have been revealed for Namco Bandai‘s Soul Calibur 4 (PS3, Xbox 360), and they both happen to be pretty women with deadly blades. Courtesy of cng4u.com, we’ve found scans that show off Ashlotte Meideru and Shura.

From the info found on the source link, Ashlotte was designed by manga artist Oogure Ito (also known as Oh!Great in the scan), the creator of Tenjou Tenge and Air Gear. For a fragile-looking woman, however, it should be noticeable in the pictures that she carries a massive great axe, which makes us think she’s about as strong as Rock or Zasalamel.

Shura, on the other hand, appears to be a foil to both Mitsurugi and Ivy, as this dual-blade wielding woman is of Japanese heritage and happens to carry a set of assets as impressive as Ivy’s. Her character design was developed by Gantz creator Hiroya Oku.
