Soul Calibur 4 sells over 2 million
It’s seems there’s a special kind of magic in the air that’s making people buy copies of Soul Calibur 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3). Either that, or the power of the Force compels them. Namco Bandai has announced that Soul Calibur 4 has sold over two million copies worldwide. More after the jump!
Namco Bandai certainly has a cash cow on their hands. The company recently announced that Soul Calibur 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) has sold over two million copies in little over a week of sales.
For those who don’t know about it, the game actually went worldwide only on August 1. The game came out in the US on July 29, followed by Japan on July 31 and Europe on August 1. It’s unsurprising that the game sold so quickly, as the awesomeness of the game coupled with the introduction of Star Wars characters makes for a compelling sale.
In any event, we expect more people to pick up the game once a demo is released. Keep checking QJ for updates as they happen.
