South London teen shot in his own home by Xbox 360 robbers

Last Wednesday, at about 3:00 PM, in Sydenham, South London, an 18 year old was shot right in his own home by robbers attempting to steal his Xbox 360.

Barging into the house, the three robbers put a pistol in the victim’s mouth, threatening to shoot him if he refused to give his Microsoft next-gen console. The Sun reports that as the victim was getting the Xbox 360 unit, a struggle ensued, which led to the victim being shot thrice, point-blank. Fortunately, he did not die from the wounds, and have been reported to be already stable in the hospital as of last night.

The robbers were then later on found to be mere teenagers themselves. One of them, a 17 year old, was stabbed, and is also now stable in the hospital, under the watch of the police.

According to The Sun’s source, “You’re talking somebody being robbed and shot in their home for a games console. It’s the sort of thing you’d expect in America, not here. The violence used was extreme.”
